Poker workshops

Dear friends,

due to the latest events I'm going to offer the first part of a 24 parts "Poker for bloody beginners"-workshop. You guys really need it! I didn't only win two consecutive tournaments in one night but dominated also 8 out of 10 all-in situations.

I accept your registration.

Greetings from Chattanooga

Dear Poker friends

Ducks22 and Mr.T are sending you best regards from Chattanooga!

Yesterday we embarked the Cherokee Casino "Harrah's". In the first place we were a little disappointed that they don't have any Poker or Roulette table. After I won approx. 50 bucks at a slot machine I felt better (even though I lost some money at the Black jack table again).

Rank 4 of 64 Participants

Hey guys,

Wanna know the outcome of my little tournament?

We played the final table up to 1.30 a.m., when I was busted out. We were 4 players left at the final table, i.e. the 4 other final table members had already been busted. I was at the button. I was second stack with approx. 1,100 chips (starting chip stack came to 500). The blinds were 75-150. The UTG limped in with 150. My hand: AQs (the 7th-best hand in Hold'em, probability of getting AQs or better: 4,1% or 1 to 23; i.e. in one of 24 card shuffles you receive a hand like this or better). I bet out correctly 500, knowing that this will smash out the limper and likely both blinds.

Then, the SB went all in with 900 chips. That were 400 more chips to bring. If I had not called, then I had been the small stack, leaving me only 600 of my original 1,100 bankroll. Having the 7th best hand my decision was clear: call.

Guess, what happened next? All-in with the SB. He showed me AA. Up to the turn, I made a flush draw. What would the river bring? 6 of hearts - I was busted...

Unfortunately, I was in the bubble, on because the real fat prices and the medals were designated for rank three and better. I received a free start for the next match, I plastic card deck, and a poker magazine :-(

However, no. 4 of 64 gamblers isn't too bad for my second tournament. And, the tournament was a lot better than in the BA Hotel. For 15 EUR buy in a game lasts approx. 1 1/2 hour instead of 3/4 hour at BA Hotel. Who of you guys will join me at my next tournament?

Final Table!!!

Hey guys,

I'm just in between the win of the qualification table (I busted out the seven other players at my table) and the final table within the tournament taking place today at the K3 in Lauf. The pic shows my ticket for the final table. The first one wins a price (It's something for dolby surround TV watching...) coming to 350 €... I don't know what runner up and the others will receive.

At my table also experienced players took part. Three of them told stories regarding the poker tables in the Bavarian Casino in Feuchtwangen. They played very aggresively...

However, in approx. 3/4 hour the final table will take place. I'm looking forward to but a little bit nervous, too. Nevertheless, since I'm the first of us who ever took part in a final table, I will from now on proudly call myself again Mr. AA.

Poker Tournament in Lauf on Saturday, March 17, 6 p.m.

Hey guys,

Today, at 6 p.m. I will likely join a poker tournament in Lauf, starting 6 p.m. at the K3. Does anybody want to accompany me?

Besides, the pic shows the new upcoming gambler "craps", as a good add on to a poker session, for recreation purposes, only...

Bavaria Hold`em Donation

Bavaria Hold`em is proud to announce a donation of 271 Euros to the "Obdachlosenhilfeverein" founded by priest Weidinger of St. Jakob (www.st-jakob-nbg.de). The sum of the donation is made up of all the "Split"-pots we had up to now. As not every player contributed the same share to this donation a special thank goes to those players who contributed most by bad poker play.

Three Magi Tournament

Thanks a lot to Mr. A kind invitation on the 6th of January! It was really nice apart from the fact that I lost 30 (thirty!) Euros :-((

You won't believe it but Ducks22 won the tournament. First he kicked Mr. A out with a Queen/6 against Ace/2 (both suited). Then Ducks went with his Q/10 all-in against Mr. G' 9/9. How cool's that?

I put some pictures on http://www.flickr.com/photos/pokergod.

Take care!
Mr. T
